I think my hypocrisy more lies in comic books, because I was all into those variant covers and Image rip offs in high school and now I'm all, "Fffft. Pathetic eye-candy." I was never into anime enough... though I had a good barrier from getting into it by people like that.

Yeah, that was totally me at my first convention. Though now I'm all like, "OKAY let's get down to biz-nazz, I got lotsa cute Japanese crap to peruse," I do still get retardedly excited about them. Most of my hypocrisy lies in the fact that I delight in snarking about cosplayers ("Lol look, ANOTHER morbidly obese girl dressed as a character from Gravitation!"), my first cosplay was SO BAD. And honestly even my more recent ones aren't much to write home about.
