Living in a Man's World

What's the lamest inspiration I've had for a drawing in awhile? If you guessed a song from the Chipmunks movie from the 80s then you win the Kewpie. Beware the oncoming wall of text.

YES THAT'S WHY YOUNG!FUJIKO LOOKS LIKE JEANETTE. Or rather, it's one of the reasons. I've had in my head the idea for some kind of epic fanfic about Lupin and Jigen as kids for years. It'll never get written. But now and again I'll sketch scenes from it, and in said fic they do run into Fujiko twice. The first time is around age twelve or so and that's when this occurs. Now, one of the things about Lupin is that canonly he seems to prefer the... erm. Developed woman. I'm running with the idea that this was true even in childhood, and so girls his own age were for teasing. Because that's how little boys are.

It seems like some of the most gorgeous adult women were totally plain when they were kids/teens. I'm using this theory with Fujiko as well. Let's just say their second meeting when they were eighteen went much much differently.

Erm, and yeah the title comes from a lyric in the song "Boys and Girls of Rock & Roll" from 'The Chipmunk Adventure'. "We're living in a man's world, they tell us~"
